Race System Overview

The IoncraftersRPG server features 5 unique fantasy races, each with distinct racial traits, passive abilities, and level-based bonuses. Your race choice provides passive bonuses that scale with your level and prestige, significantly affecting your character's capabilities and playstyle.

Each race has a specific theme and synergizes best with certain classes. Choose wisely based on your preferred playstyle!

Available Races

👤 Human

Theme: Balanced / XP Focused

The versatile Human race, perfect for players who want to level up quickly and adapt to any playstyle.

  • Passive: +10% XP gain (all sources)
  • Prestige Bonus: +1 extra minor milestone stat per prestige
  • Level 50 Bonus: +40% total XP gain
  • Synergy: Fast leveling for any class
  • Best With: Any class (fastest prestige path)

⛏️ Dwarf

Theme: Tank / Defense

The sturdy Dwarf race, masters of defense and resilience on the battlefield.

  • Passive - Armor: +5% → +15% armor effectiveness (scales with level)
  • Passive - Knockback Resist: +20% knockback resistance
  • Level 50 Bonus: +21% armor total
  • Best With: Vanguard (ultimate tank build)

🍃 Elf

Theme: Precision / Ranged

The graceful Elf race, masters of precision and ranged combat with enhanced critical strikes.

  • Passive - Crit Chance: +5% → +10% critical hit chance (scales with level)
  • Passive - Projectile Speed: +10% (arrows fly faster)
  • Level 50 Bonus: +15% crit chance total
  • Best With: Ranger (crit damage master)

💪 Orc

Theme: Damage / Aggressive

The fierce Orc race, powerful warriors who grow stronger in combat through rage and aggression.

  • Passive - Damage: +5% → +15% melee damage (scales with level)
  • Passive - Rage: Gain stacks on hit (max 10 stacks, +1-4% damage per stack)
  • Penalty: -15% healing received
  • Level 50 Bonus: +30% damage + 40% rage bonus
  • Best With: Berserker (glass cannon synergy)

🐉 Drakken

Theme: Sustain / Regen

The powerful Drakken race, masters of sustain and combat regeneration.

  • Passive - Flat DR: 5% damage reduction (always active)
  • Passive - Combat Regen: +1% damage/sec in combat (max 10%)
  • Regen: ~1 HP/s base → ~6 HP/s at Prestige 4
  • Level 50 Bonus: 9% DR + 10% combat damage
  • Best With: Spearman (sustain frontline fighter)

Racial Traits & Bonuses

Each race has unique racial traits that provide passive bonuses:

  • Passive Abilities: Each race has 1-2 passive abilities that are always active
  • Scaling Bonuses: Many racial bonuses scale with your level (e.g., +5% → +15%)
  • Level 50 Bonus: Each race receives a significant bonus at level 50
  • Prestige Bonuses: Each race gains +5% race stat boost per prestige level (P1-P4 = +20% total). These bonuses only apply to race-specific stats, not class stats.
  • Class Synergy: Each race works best with specific classes for optimal builds
  • Race-Specific Enchantments: Special enchantments that only work for specific races

📊 Race Progression System

Races level from 1-50, reaching maximum racial abilities at level 50. Prestige to gain a permanent +5% race stat boost per prestige level (P1-P4 = +20% total race stats)! These bonuses only apply to race-specific stats, not class stats.

Prestige 3 1,000,000 XP +15% race stat boost (+5% increment per prestige, permanent, race stats only)
Prestige 4 1,000,000 XP +20% race stat boost (+5% increment per prestige, MAX, permanent, race stats only)

  • ◆ Ranger + Elf: Crit Master (40%+ crit damage)
  • ◆ Duelist + Orc: Rage Duelist (fast rage stacks)

  • ◆ Vanguard + Dwarf: Ultimate Tank (40%+ DR)
  • ◆ Vanguard + Drakken: Sustain Tank (passive regen)
  • ◆ Berserker + Drakken: Sustain Berserker (lifesteal + regen)

⚡ Best Leveling Combos

  • ◆ Any Class + Human: +40% XP gain (fastest prestige)
  • ◆ Ranger + Human: Fast Leveling Ranger (kiting + XP)

Race Selection

Your race choice is one of the first decisions you'll make when joining the server. Each race offers a unique playstyle and set of bonuses. Consider how your race complements your chosen class for the best synergy!

Tip: Use the synergy combinations above to maximize your effectiveness. For example, if you want maximum damage output, pair Berserker with Orc. For the fastest leveling experience, any class paired with Human will give you +40% XP gain at level 50.
